When I do a photoshoot I try to have a bit of fun and always look for something else to photograph, (besides the subject matter)
At a wedding last year I took some photos of the food.
The clent loved them.

Resumption of Service
Good morning to you all and I hope that the New Year will be Great for all of you.
Having been on a bit of a blogging Hiatus I have decided to resume normal service.
Over the last few months I feel that I have grown as a photographer and I hope the images that I post on this blog will show that.
Over the weekend I did an Engagement shoot at Meyersdal Eco Estate in Alberton.
Afterwards my daughter asked that I take few shots of her.
She was asking for a darker look.
I think I got it

Pilanesberg Day 2 Afternoon drive
After visiting Mankwe hide we went for breakfast at Eagles Nest lookout and then returned to Manyane.
After a rest and catch up on the photos we then went out again in the afternoon

Sorry to be late with this but I have been man down with the dreaded flu and trying to run a business in between bouts of coughing and sneezing
Day 2 started off bright and early. So early that we were the first through the gate. We did not see a lot of game but got to Mankwe hide to find we had it all to our selves.

Special
There’s special and there’s “Special”
It’s all in the eye of the beholder
Good Start
Well its been a good start to the year so far.
My bank approached me and offered to refinance my vehicle over 36 months. There was a large balloon payment coming up and I was about to sell the car to cover it.
I took out the lease when I was still in the formal sector and expected to be able to meet this payment quite easily.
But things change and suddenly I was working for myself.
I did not expect them to refinance it, but they said no problem, just give us 3 months worth of bank statements and we’ll look at it.
Today they came back and did the whole thing and my repayments are less than I was paying.
For the record I drive a large SUV and was reluctant to get rid of it so things worked out nicely.
On the work front I had a busy week, quoting for jobs, some as far out as November so all in all it’s looking good
I have a shopping basket on my website now so my clients dont get a cd. They can place the order on the site and pay. I print the order and fill out their order.
This is a whole new revenue stream as in the past the clients just took their package of photos but it looks like they buy extra photos this way.
And to top it all off one of my wedding clients put a “recommend” on my face book page
