Could this have an effect on UK energy prices

UK government has won a commons vote to enter into the EU's energy policy; this will allow the EU to speak as one and for every member state in Europe to have one single energy policy.
However this would mean if one member state had energy supply issues that it could lead to the UK having to supplement that member state.
This could potentially cause energy providers to increase the price of energy due to supply and demand. The full report can be read here
