The Makeup Hag's Bag

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the miracle Talika Light 590 has not worked for me.

This device promises to be the answer to every vain, self-obsessed woman’s prayers by visibly reducing wrinkles. Well, after one month (and a little more) of using it religiously, my wrinkles and fine lines are still there. In fact, I have more, though not because of the Talika Light, but rather because of the unstoppable march of time.

Maybe I am not being fair, though. The manufacturers do promise a 32% decrease in wrinkles after the first month, and that is a rather insignificant amount. I think I should keep on using it (and keep on hoping) for the next two months to determine whether it has any effect.

I’m actually rather annoyed at myself;  it looks as though I have fallen for yet another expensive gimmick.
