Understanding genesis and other events

It happened all over the earth,
not only in a small puddle
among harsh rocks:
practically at the same time
different nucleotides happened together,
and then there were small entities
that could reproduce themselves.

It happened all over the earth,
not only in one
body of water, shining like steel.
Those entities assembled
into very simple cells,
all over the world.

It happens all over the earth:
babies are born;
some become men.
some women,
some try to understand
the insides of molecules,
some try to understand
what happened last night,
some try to understand,
some understand a little.
