Well I've resorted to creating my own Olympic Calendar based on South African times, and all the events that I want to follow, including: Athletics, Gymnastics, Swimming, Diving, Waterpolo and Volleyball - both Beach and Indoor.

I am amazed that with all the tech and focus on the Beijing Summer Olympics that not one person has produced a detailed Olympic schedule (event, teams, times, places) available for download in common formats like Outlook pst, Goolge Calendar (iCal) etc.
The best I can find is https://www.google.com/calendar/render?cid=daniel.law%40empics.com
but without the team vs team info.
Perhaps its a tactic to drive audiences to specific sites for that type of info, resutls etc., but I would like to be able to plan my viewing and schedule it accordingly.
The only other calendar was available on a Calendaring site with the following:
