Hirsch’s Umhlanga celebrating National Pizza Day
February 11, 2013 in Uncategorized
In celebration of National Pizza day, Hirsch’s Umhlanga hosted a fun, interactive cooking demonstration. Said Hirsch’s Warren Pearce “The focus was on homemade goodness. Guest chefs Cheryl Woolatt and Ramola Makan created the pizzas from scratch. They used Stone milled flour for the base, and fresh locally sourced ingredients for the toppings. The selection of pizzas included Spinach & Feta, Rosa Tomato & Basil and for the carnivores Russian sausages and Cheese. The audience was given the opportunity to join in the cooking and use the wide range of ovens and appliances on offer at Hirsch’s.”
