Entrepreneurs and business owners recently attended an informative business networking breakfast with “Using the Law to Advance your Business” as the topic, at Hirsch’s Umhlanga. “The topic can be divided into three categories, namely Employment Law, Business Contracts and Restraint of Trade.  It is vitally important as a business owner to familiarise yourself with the laws that are applicable to your industry.  Not only will this knowledge protect you from any legal action, but you will also be able to use the law to your advantage when needed” said guest speaker and Attorney, Theasan Pillay. He went on to say that speaking and attending the free business networking breakfasts is a valuable tool for expanding your business. Judging by the overwhelming response from the audience during the Q & A after the talk.  This was the first of many free monthly  business networking breakfast at the branch.
