Anene Booysen- Mistaken Indentity Plea
Davids was denied bail and Kana did not apply for bail.
Why do we not hear about the police finding the other 4 men involved in this case? Why do we not hear about the police finding the other Zwaai?
In the case of Valencia Farmer the other men involved in her rape and murder were not arrested and never stood trial.
Do we just get a sacrificial arrest and guilty finding for poor people? Is it enough that someone was arrested and tried and the rest can go free? Before she died Anene said that there were six men involved in her rape and mutilation. Then she died. Why are there only two men on trial?
Along the same lines- is it enough for the police to arrest Davids and for the courts to try him when there is a possibility of another person with the same nickname as his to be involved?

Bredasdorp – An investigating officer in the rape and murder case of Anene Booysen has testified that the man Booysen fingered before she died was known as Zwaai, the SABC reported on Wednesday.
Doleen Olivier was testifying in the bail application of Jonathan Davids, one of the accused, whose nickname was Zwaai and whose family name was Teikentakke.
Davids on Tuesday said his arrest was a case of mistaken identity.
Olivier has also testified that before she died Anene said that between five and six men had raped her.
So far police have only arrested Davids and his co-accused, Johannes Kana.
The bail application continues. – Sapa
