NOT A WHITE CHRISTMAS TREE
December 22, 2012 in Journal
Here we have a traditional reflection of a children’s Christmas Tree party. It shows young J receiving her handout from Father Christmas. The garb of most of those present gives a clue that perhaps the outside scene isn’t one of snow and ice, though.
The background of J adoring her new doll shows that the party was at the yacht club’s beachsite. Departure of the grandkids and their parents for Johannesburg where they will spend Christmas with son-in-law’s folks was put off by a day to enable them to attend.
Our kidless Christmas will be made up for by a second one after their return.
